Eliecer is a new producer to the Osito green buying program and with that comes the intricacies of building relationships with farmers in remote regions. Osito noted that because of this it has been virtually impossible to speak with Don Eliecer aside of when he's delivered to the San Augstín bodega. He doesn't have a phone, and while his relatives do and the Osito team has contact with them - they are reluctant to give much information over the phone. 

It is a tricky situation in Colombia with producers and exporters at the moment, and personal information comes with relationship for these farmers. Hopefully in the coming years we will see not just great coffee, but a great working relationship with Eliecer!
